Growing recommendations
Seed a few seeds per foot your garden or field after chance of frost has passed and thin to 6-12” apart in rows 30”-36” apart . Amend with compost or manure for best yields. Harvest when kernels are full and "milky," indicated by a drying and browning of the ear silks. You can also press a nail into a kernel, it should pop with milky juices.
